Description

When the land was scarce, King Louis XV allowed Rémy Martin the authority to develop his vineyards in 1738. The house crafted an extraordinarily oaky and silky blend called 1738 Accord Royal to tribute this most fantastic accolade. Fruity, with distinct flavors of dried fig and apricot, as well as traces of vanilla and brown sugar—a fruitcake-like flavor.

Remy Martin 1738 - Recognition of  King Louis XV

Rémy Martin 1738 is a silky smooth interpretation of Rémy Martin's distinctive style. In 1724, Rémy Martin, a winegrower, began selling cognac under his name. It was against the law in France at the time to plant new vines, but King Louis XV is claimed to have been so taken by Rémy Martin's cognac that he obtained permission— to do so. The rest is history, as Rémy Martin went on to become one of the world's most well-known cognac manufacturers. The 1738 Accord Royal expression was born in commemoration of such royal order. It's a smooth, rich, and powerful cognac. We aren't simply joking around. To back it up, the cognac received multiple honors. Silver, Fine Champagne Cognac - VSOP, International Wine & Spirit Competition 2014, Double Gold, San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021.

Remy Martin 1738  Price - Affordable Considering What’s in The Blend

Remy Martin 1738 is a sophisticated and reasonably priced blend of young and vintage Eaux-de-vie that may be sipped or used in cocktails. It's a deep reddish amber tint, a popular practice in the cognac market.

Plum and fig jam aromas pour forth from the glass, completed by rich oaky notes of toffee and toasted bread. The fruity flavor, which includes distinct flavors of dried fig and apricot, as well as traces of vanilla and brown sugar, will undoubtedly blow your mind. The dry, slightly woody finish contrasts nicely with the sweetness up front, and it lasts several minutes after the last sip.

Remy Martin 1738 - A Statement Of Style

Rémy Martin 1738 is best served neat, on the rocks, or in traditional cocktails. So let us share some of our favorite cocktail recipes.

  • Soak the sugar lump in the bitters in a glass. Then add two ice cubes. Pour in the cognac and whisk until it's velvety smooth. Serve with an orange twist.

  • Combine the cognac, Cointreau, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Pour into a coupette glass after straining. Squeeze in an orange peel for a richer taste or a lemon peel for freshness.

  • In a cocktail shaker packed with ice, combine Rémy Martin 1738, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake and pour into a highball glass over ice. Add a splash of club soda to finish.
