Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege Cognac, widely recognized as one of the most excellent Cognacs, has a long history of making high-quality Cognacs. Hennessy's VSOP is the epitome of balance and class, combining 60 different Eaux-de-vie aged up to 15 years. This Cognac is precisely proportioned in every way and begs to be consumed slowly, pure, and savored.
Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege Cognac has been influenced by a dedication to making the world's best Cognacs since its establishment in 1765. Hennessy Cognac is crafted including some criteria established by Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde and passed down through generations. When it comes to drinking Cognac, we haven't obeyed any restrictions since 1765.
The Hennessy master blenders have always strived to develop an entirely harmonious blend: the definitive embodiment of a perfectly balanced cognac, to carry on the history of the original V.S.O.P, which Hennessy created in 1817 for the Prince Regent, who would be George IV.
Hennessy V.S.O.P. Privilege Cognac, which Hennessy meticulously distills, is well-known for its fruit, cinnamon, candied, and vanilla taste notations. The highly aromatic cognac has ventured into the dried fruit zone with raisins, apricots, and dates. Floral fragrances are prevalent as well, with a violet undertone. The aroma of mulled wine remains, with baking spices such as cinnamon and clove shining out in particular. As you get into the tongue, the brandy has a zesty vitality, with the fragrance characteristics still there. There's a distinct sweetness here, but it's not overpowering. There's just enough bitterness, in the end, to keep things interesting. This is a fantastic step-up for newcomers to cognac because it isn't only about fruit.

The cognac's richness and spiciness, combined with the bitters and toned off by crisp lemon notes, harmonize wonderfully with the Absinthe. Combine the cognac, syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir until thoroughly cold. Pour into a rocks glass rimmed with Absinthe. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
