Aalborg Jubilaeums Akvavit 700ml

A golden akvavit first created in 1946 to celebrate the centenary of Aalborg Akvavit, hence the name Jubilæums or ‘Jubilee’. Indeed, akvavit is said to have been created in the northern Danish city of Aalborg by Isidor Henius in 1846.

This bottling has been flavoured with a mixture of dill, coriander, star anise, and citrus.

The final result is a profoundly citrussy akvavit, with verdant notes of lime, faint anise, caraway, dill and general soft warming spice.
