Handy Sazerac Rye barrels, flavors of toffee, fig cake, and candied fruit come through, followed by mint, cinnamon, and clove. All are well balanced and delivered in the palate. The amusement does not end with sipping the long and warm finish revealing subtle notes of allspice, coconut and nutmeg that stay on for a long time. The aging in old rye barrels is the reason how tequila becomes so intense and full of flavors. The light golden color shouts the goodness of the tequila.
