Old Carter Batch 6 Straight Rye is an April 2020 release barrel strength rye whiskey from Mark and Sherri Carter, distilled in Indiana and bottled in Bardstown, Kentucky. The Carters hand selected and blended the barrels for this batch, releasing just 1,521 bottles, each labeled by hand by Sherri. At 116.3 proof and bottled without chill filtration, Batch 6 leans floral and citrus forward on the nose with explosive caramel, butterscotch, and red hot candy spice on the palate. A coveted release in the Old Carter rye lineup and a frequent favorite among collectors.
