'Originate, not imitate,' he lived his life by. We believe in traditionally preparing rum, as men in the past consumed it. It's spicy and silky, and it's distilled to 80 proof (40 percent ABV). If you're not a big fan of the new recipe, you may easily improve the flavor of the new version by adding some brown sugar and vanilla essence to the container and shaking it vigorously - it works! Vanilla spice, butter, wood, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground ginger dominate the flavor profile. On the palate, it's dry and sweet, with flavors of winter spice and black pepper, as well as toffee.

Root Beer Flotilla - In a dessert glass, combine Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and ice cream. Serve with root beer on the side. Serve with whipped cream and cherry as a garnish.
